University of Jammu Recruitment for the post of Librarian, Deputy Librarian, Associate Professor

Post (पद): Librarian 
No of posts( रिक्तियों की संख्या ): 1(One) 
Educational Qualification( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता )  and Experience(अनुभव): 

(i) A Master's Degree in Library Science/lnformation Science/Documentation with at least SS% marks or its equivalent B grade in UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record set out in these regulations. 

(ii)At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or eighteen years, experience as a College Librarian.

(iii)Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.

Desirable( वांछनीय योग्यता ):

(i)A M.Phil /Ph.D. Degree in library Science/information Science/documentation/Achieves and manuscript-keeping. 

(ii) A minimum Score as stipulated in the Academic Performance lndicator (Apl) based performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).

Pay( वेतन ): ₹ 37400-67000 GP-10000/-

Post (पद): Deputy Librarian 
No of posts( रिक्तियों की संख्या ): 1(One) 
Educational Qualification( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) and Experience(अनुभव): 

(i)A Master's Degree in li-brary sciecne/information science/Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivatent grade of B in the UGC Seven point scale and a consistent good academic record.

(ii)Five years experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian. 

(iii)Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library

Desirable( वांछनीय योग्यता ):

(i) A M Phil/PhD Degree in library science/information science/documentation/Achieves and manuscript-keeping/Computerization of library. 

(ii) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based performance  Based Appraisal System (PBAS).

Pay( वेतन ): ₹ 37400-67000 GP-9000/-

Post (पद): Associate Professor
No of posts( रिक्तियों की संख्या ): 1(One) 
Educational Qualification( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) and Experience(अनुभव): 

(i) Good academic record with a Ph.D Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. 
(ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) 
(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in and academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/ Industry with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. 
(iv) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology- mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. 
(v) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).
