Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications, Government of India, New Delhi Recruitment for the post of Assistant Library & Information Officer on deputation (including short-term contract)

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):

(i) Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a recognised University or Institute;

(ii) Two years' professional experience in a library under Central Government or State Governments or Autonomous or Statutory Organizations or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or recognised research or educational institutions;

Desirable Qualification (वांछनीय शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):

(i) Master's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a recognised University or Institute.

(ii) Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognised University or Institute.

Experience(अनुभव): Applicant must be from the officers of Central Government or State Governments or Union territories or Public Sector undertakings or Statutory and Autonomous Bodies or Recognised Research Institutions or Universities: -

(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) with five years' Service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-6 (35400-112400) or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.

Pay( वेतन ): Pay Matrix Level-7  ₹ 44900-142400 (7th CPC)
Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 56 Years as on the closing date of receipt of application
