Educational Qualification( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ): 

(i) First or High Second class Post Graduate degree (with marks of 55% and above) in Sociology, Social/ Cultural Anthropology, Economics, Social Work, Rural Development, Population &Development Studies, Forest Management, Agriculture, Management, Rural Development, Social Sciences, Economics, Banking, Political Science, Public Administration, Local Governance, M.Tech (in any field of Science & Technology including Geo-informatics, Space Technology, Spatial Information Technology), Library Science, Journalism, Mass Media and Statistics. 
ii) Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

Experience(अनुभव):a) Atleast 10 years’ experience in teaching in a recognized University or training and/or research in any recognized Institution, of which at least 5 years should be at the level equivalent to that of an Associate Professor in the University/ training/ research Institution of repute. 

Desirable( वांछनीय योग्यता ): Independent research/ field experience with published books / papers based on original work, etc. and should have made some mark in the area of scholarship as evidenced by quality of publications, contribution to educational innovation, design of new courses and Curriculum. Research papers in national/ International Journals in the relevant fields indicated above. Knowledge in ICT Applications and SPSS software.

Pay( वेतन ):Scale of pay of  ₹ 37400-67000 with AGP of  ₹10000/- (6th CPC)

ii) Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

Experience(अनुभव):

Atleast 7 years of experience in teaching in a recognized University or training and / or research in any recognized Institution/ Consultancy in the relevant discipline/ subject, of which a minimum 5 years should be at a level of Assistant Professor in the University/ training/ research institution of repute.

Desirable( वांछनीय योग्यता ): Independent research experience in the relevant field / published books/ papers based on original work, etc., and should have made remarkable contribution in the area of scholarship, evidenced by quality of publications, contribution to educational innovation, design of new courses and curriculum. Knowledge in ICT Applications and SPSS software.

Pay( वेतन ):Scale of pay of Rs.37400-67000 with AGP of Rs.9000/- (6th CPC)

(i)Minimum of High Second Class Post Graduate Degree (with marks of 55% and above) in Psychology, Sociology, Education, M.B.A, Social/ Cultural Anthropology, Economics, Social Work, Rural Development, Population &Development Studies, Forest Management, Management, Social Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, Development Planning, Local Governance, M.Sc. (Agriculture, Forestry), M.B.A. (Rural Management), Environmental Studies, Rural Technology, Entrepreneurship, Disaster Management, Rural Industries / Marketing, Library Science, Journalism, Mass Media and Statistics 
ii) Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

Experience(अनुभव):

Two years of experience in teaching in a recognised University or training and / or research in an Institution of repute or relevant field experience in any Engineering/ Technological area relevant to Rural Development; 

Desirable( वांछनीय योग्यता ):Independent research/ field experience with published books/ papers based on original work, etc. and should have made some mark in the area of scholarship as evidenced by quality of publications, contribution to educational innovation, design of new courses and Curriculum. Research papers in National/ International Journals in the relevant fields indicated above. Knowledge in ICT Applications and SPSS software.
