Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Rural Development, New Delhi Recruitment for the post of Assistant Library & Information Officer on deputation (including short-term contract)

Qualification and Experience (शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव):

Applicant must be from the officers of Central Government / State Governments /Union Territories / Universities / Recognised Research lnstitutions / Public Sector Undertakings, Semi Government / Statutory or Autonomous Organisations: -

A) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in Pay Band-2; Rs.9300_348001 plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department; and
B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

(i) Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation Science from a recognised University or Institute .
(ii) Two years' experience on computerisation of a Library or a Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognised University or lnstitute.

Pay( वेतन ): Pay Matrix Level-7  ₹ 44900-142400 (7th CPC)

Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 56 Years as on the closing date of receipt of application 
Last Date (अंतिम तारीख): Within 60 days from the date of publication of this circular in the Employment News / Rozgar Samachar.
