Educational Qualification (शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):

Master's degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentations with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC Seven points Scale (5% relaxation from 55% to 50%, at the Master Degree Level for SC/ST candidates) and consistently good academic record set out in UGC regulation 2010.

Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता):

(i) M.Phil./ Ph.D Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentations/ Achieves & Manuscript-Keeping. 
(ii)  Candidate having knowledge of Sanskrit. 
(iii) Working experience in Sanskrit University/Institutions.

Experience(अनुभव): 
(i) At least 13 year's as a Deputy Librarian in the University Library or 18 years experience as a College Librarian. 
(ii) Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work. 

A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) set out in the UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers & other academic staff and measures of maintenance of standards in Higher Education, 2010, along with its amendments from time to time, to be filled in Annexure-I (to be supported by the documentary evidence)
Pay( वेतन ): ₹37400-67000 AGP ₹10000
