Post (पद): Librarian (On Deputation)

Officers from the Central/State Government or Institutes of national importance or universities/university level institution or PSU

(i) holding analogous post or 
(ii) With at 3 years service in in PB-4 (Rs 37400 – 67000 with GP of Rs 8700/- or ACP of Rs 9000- as per Central Pay Commission or its equivalent and having experience of innovative Library service and commitment for computerization of library. 

Essential (अनिवार्य ):

(i) Masters Degree in Library Information Science / Information Science / Documentation with CGPA Of 6.5 in 10 points scale or at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade Of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations. 
(ii) At least ten years experience as a Deputy Librarian in the library of technical University, educational institute national importance, or any other large technical library at least 3 years being spent on a post in PB-4 (Rs 37400 – 67000/-) with GP of Rs 8700 or an equivalent post. 
(iii) Experience (supported with evidence) of innovative Library service and commitment for computerization of library.

Pay( वेतन ): PB – 4: ₹37,400-67,000 + AGP ₹10,000 (6th CPC) 

Post (पद): Assistant Librarian

Essential (अनिवार्य):

Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 Points scale or at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade of 'B' in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record with superior knowledge of computerized library science.

Desirable (वांछनीय):

(i) PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent. 
(ii) NET/SLET/SET qualified candidates shall be preferred.

Pay( वेतन ): PB – 3: ₹15600-39100 + GP ₹5400 (6th CPC)

Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 35 Years
