Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) Under Shillong Region, Meghalaya Recruitment for the post of Librarian for the Session 2018-19 on Contract Basis

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):

(i) University degree in Library Science from a recognized institution.

OR

Graduation with one year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized institution.

(ii) Working knowledge in English and in Hindi or other Regional Language.

Desirable Qualification (वांछनीय शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):

(i) Experience of working as Librarian in a residential school.

(ii) Knowledge of Computer Operation.

Pay( वेतन ): ₹31,250/- PM

Certificate Verification Date (दस्तावेजों की जांच तारीख): 04/05/2018
Selection Procedure (चयन प्रक्रिया):
(i) Appointment of librarian will be made on the basis of career marks.

(ii) Appointment of contract staff on trial basis will be made for 15 days initially and if their services are found satisfactory, the contract period will be extended upto 30/04/2019 or till such time the regular incumbent joins against the vacant post, whichever is earlier.

(iii) Candidates should report at the venue (JNV-Ribhoi) for verification of documents in person as per the scheduled at 9.00 am with original certificates, mark sheets and with a set of self attested photo copies of the same, experience certificate and one recent passport size photograph to be pasted in the bio-data form and identification proof like Voter ID, Aadhar Card or identity card issued by Govt. Schools and college etc.

(iv) Candidates are to be physically present at the venue for verification of documents, failing which the application of the candidates, if any will be rejected.
