The Indian Law Institute, New Delhi Recruitment for the post of Librarian
Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):
(i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science
/Information Science/documentation with at least
55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC
seven point’s scale and consistently good academic
record set out in these Regulations.
(ii) At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a
University library or eighteen years’ experience as a
College Librarian.
(iii) Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.
(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff and Measure for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2010. (4th Amendment dated 11.07.2016) as prescribed in the Appendix – III Table VII shall be applicable.
(iii) Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.
(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff and Measure for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2010. (4th Amendment dated 11.07.2016) as prescribed in the Appendix – III Table VII shall be applicable.
OR
Deputy Librarian completing service of three years in the AGP of Rs. 9000 and otherwise eligible as per
the API scoring system and PBAS methodology
developed in UGC Regulations, 2016 (4th
Amendment) with a Ph.D.
Desirable Qualification (वांछनीय शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):
(i) M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in library
science/information science
/documentation/archives and manuscript keeping.
Exposure in working with leading
libraries on Law and Allied Subjects with research
orientation.
(ii) Development, organization and management
of e-resources including their accessibility over
Intranet / Internet, digitization of library
resources, e-delivery of information, etc.
(iii) Knowledge of ICT and other new technologies’
application for upgradation of library services
such as automation of catalogue, learning
resources procurement functions, circulation
operations including membership records, serial
subscription system, reference and information
services, library security technology based
methods such as RFID, CCTV), development of
library management tools (software), Intranet
management
(iv) An outstanding professional with complete
knowledge of vocational education, skill
development ecosystem and its stakeholders.
(v) Overall sectorial & Industry knowledge ability
to analysis / collate demands and prepare a
sustainable plan/models of skill programs / courses / work-study model and skilling
framework.
(vi) Support in establishing digital
library / softwares.
(vii) A candidate should have knowledge and must
be familiar with technology based digital learning
MOOCS, SWAYAM etc.
(viii) IT skills are mandatory
Pay( वेतन ): Pay Matrix Level-14 ₹1,44,200/- to 2,18,200/- (7th CPC)
Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 50 Years as on the last date of submission of
application.
