Educational Qualification (शैक्षिक आवश्यकता) and Experience(अनुà¤à¤µ):
(i) A Master's degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record.
(ii)Five years' experience as an Assistant University Librarian / College Librarian.
(iii) Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library.
Desirable( वांछनीय योग्यता ): A. M.Phil / Ph.D. Degree in library science / informationScience /Documentation /Archives and manuscript keeping / computerization of library.
All other terms and conditions of UGC Regulations 2010 and as amended from time to time shall also be applicable.
Pay( वेतन ): PB-3 - Rs.15600 - 39100/- Academic Grade Pay ₹ 8000/-
Age: Not exceeding 50 years.
(ii)Five years' experience as an Assistant University Librarian / College Librarian.

(OR)
(i) Master's Degree in any discipline with a Diploma in Library Science.

(ii) Two (2) years relevant experience in a University / College Library.
Desirable( वांछनीय योग्यता ):
(i) Four (4) years of post-qualification experience in the field of Library & Information Science.
(ii) Knowledge of library automation software.
(iii) One year course in computer applications.
Pay( वेतन ): ₹ PB-I - Rs.5200-20200/- Assistant Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
(ii) Certificate in Library Science/ Library & Information Science from any recognized institute.
Desirable( वांछनीय योग्यता ): Computer course of 6 months duration from any recognized Institute.
