Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):

Officers of the Central Government or State Government or High Court or District Court or PSUs or Autonomous bodies OR recognised University. 
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; or 
(ii) with six years regular service in the post in the pay band - 1 Rs.5200-20200/- with grade pay of Rs.2800/- in VI CPC or equivalent . 
OR 
(ii) with ten years regular service in the post in the pay band - 1 Rs.5200-20200/- with grade pay of Rs.2400/- in VI CPC or equivalent . 
(b) possessing a degree in Library Science from recognised University OR equivalent. 
(c) having five years as Librarian or as Assistant Librarian in the Library of Central Govt. OR State Govt. OR High Court OR Recognised University.

Pay( वेतन ): Pre-revised Pay Scale: Pay band - 2 Rs.9300-34800/- plus grade pay – Rs.4200/-
Revised Pay Scale: Pay Level – 6 (Rs.35400-112400/-)

Last Date (अंतिम तारीख): Not later than six weeks after publication of vacancy circular in the Employment News .
