Central University of Haryana, Haryana Recruitment for Librarian, Deputy Librarian, Professional Assistant, Library Assistant and Library Attendant: Last Date-08/06/2019

Applications are invited on the prescribed Application Form, available on the University website, from the eligible candidates for appointment to the following posts on regular/deputation basis as mentioned against each post.

Post (पद): Librarian

No of posts( रिक्तियों की संख्या ): 1 (One) 

Qualification and Experience (शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव):

(i) Master Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed;
(ii) At least 10 years’ as a Librarian at any level in University Library or ten years’ of teaching as Assistant/ Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years’ experience as a College Librarian;
(iii) Evidence of innovative Library services, including the integration of ICT in a library;
(iv) A Ph.D. Degree in library science/ documentation/ archives and manuscript keeping. 
Pay( वेतन ): Academic Pay Level-14 
Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 55 Years

Post (पद):  Deputy Librarian
No of posts( रिक्तियों की संख्या ): 1 (One) 

Qualification and Experience (शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव):

(i) Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science, with a least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed;
(ii) Eight years’ experience as an Assistant University Librarian/ College Librarian;
(iii) Evidence of innovative Library services, including the integration of ICT in a library;
(iv) A Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/Documentation Science/ Archives and manuscript keeping/ computerization of library. 
Pay (वेतन): Academic Pay Level-12

Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 55 Years

Post (पद):   Professional Assistant
No of posts( रिक्तियों की संख्या ): 1 (One) 

Essential (अनिवार्य आवश्यकता):

Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from a recognised University / Institute with two years’ experience in the relevant field in a university / research establishment / Central/ State Govt. / PSU and other autonomous body’s library.

OR

(i) Bachelor's degree in Library/ Library & Information Sciences from a recognised University / Institute;
(ii) Three years’ experience in the relevant field in a university/ research establishment / Central / State Govt./ PSU and other autonomous body’s library;
(iii) Knowledge of Computer applications. 
Desirable (वांछनीय):
PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent. 
Pay (वेतन): Pay Matrix Level-6  

Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 35 Years

Post (पद):  Library Assistant
No of posts( रिक्तियों की संख्या ): 2 (Two) 

Essential (अनिवार्य आवश्यकता):

(i) Bachelor’s degree in Library Science/ Library & Information Science from a recognized university;
(ii) Knowledge of computer applications;
(iii) Typing speed of 30 wpm in English.
Desirable (वांछनीय):
Two years’ relevant experience in a Library of repute, and good knowledge of Library Software Applications.

Pay (वेतन): Pay Matrix Level-3
Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 32 Years

Post (पद):  Library Attendant
No of posts( रिक्तियों की संख्या ): 1 (One) 

Essential (अनिवार्य आवश्यकता):

(i) 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board;
(ii) Certificate course in Library Science from a recognized Institution;
(iii) Relevant experience of one year.
Desirable (वांछनीय):
Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Pay (वेतन): Pay Matrix Level-1
Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 32 Years
