Delhi Public Library Recruitment 2019: One Post of Library & Information Officer by Composite Method of promotion / deputation: Last Date-08/07/2019

The DPL is looking for an officer to fill up one post of "Library & Information Officer" in the Pay Matrix Level - 11 of Rs. 67,700-2,08,700/- by Composite Method of promotion / deputatIOn (including Short term contract) in Delhi Public Library.

Eligibility conditions (आवश्यक योग्यता):

Assistant Library & Information Officer in the Pay Matrix Level-07 ( Rs. 44,900-1,42,400 /-) with 7 years regular service in the grade and Officers of the Central/State Govt., Central/State Autonomous Bodies/Public Undertakings.
a) J lolding analogous post on regu lar basis; OR with 5 years regular service in the post in pay matrix level -09 of Rs. 53,100- 1,67,800/- Or 7 years service in the pay level - 7 Rs. 44,900- 1,42,400/- Or equivalent.
b) Possessing the educational qualifications & experience as under: -
Essential (अनिवार्य आवश्यकता):
(i) Master Degree in Library Science or Lib. & Inf. Science of a recognized University / Institute or equivalent.
(ii) 5 years professional experience in a supervisory capacity in a Library under Central / State Government / Autonomous or Statutory organization / PSU / Universlty or Recognized Research or Educational Institution
(iii) In case the departmental officer is selected, his/her appointment will be treated to have been made by promotion.

Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता):

Experience of computerizing library activities.

Pay( वेतन ): Pay Matrix Level-11  ₹ 67,700-2,08,700/- (7th CPC)
Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 56 Years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
