The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals possessing excellent academic record and relevant work experience for the following Non-teaching positions:

Post (पद): Professional Assistant

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता) and Experience (अनुभव):

(i) Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science from any recognised University / Institution with one year experience in the relevant field in a University/Research establishment / Central / State Govt. / PSU and Library of other autonomous Institutions

OR 

Bachelor’s Degree in Library / Library and Information Science from any recognised Institute/ University with three years’ experience in the relevant field in a University / Research Establishment / Central / State Govt./PSU and Library of other autonomous Institutions.
(ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Desirable (वांछनीय योग्यता):
(i) PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent.
Pay (वेतन): Pay Level – 6 (₹35400/- per month plus allowance as per rule)

Post (पद): Semi Professional Assistant

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता) and Experience (अनुभव):

Master’s Degree in Library Science and Information Science from any recognised University/Institution OR Bachelor’s Degree in Library/ Library and Information Science from a recognised Institute/ University with two years relevant experience in a University/ Research Establishment / Central / State Govt./ PSU Autonomous Institutions.
Desirable (वांछनीय योग्यता):
PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA.
Pay (वेतन): Pay Level – 4 (₹25500/- per month plus allowance as per rule)

Post (पद): Library Assistant

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता) and Experience (अनुभव):

(i) Bachelor’s degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent from a recognized University.
(ii) Typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi.
(iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Pay (वेतन): Pay Level – 3 (₹21700/- per month plus allowance as per rule)

Post (पद): Library Attendant

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता) and Experience (अनुभव):

10th pass OR VIII pass with relevant institutional experience of at least two years.
Pay (वेतन): Pay Level – 1 (₹18000/- per month plus allowance as per rule)
