North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), Umiam invites applications in prescribed proforma for one post of Assistant Librarian (full time) purely on Contractual basis with consolidated remuneration of ₹45000/- per month.

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):

(i) A Master Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science and equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerisation of library.
(ii) Beside fulfilling the above qualification, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET)/ SLET in the relevant subject as per UGC guidelines.
Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता):
(i) Studied Hindi as a subject upto X standard.
(ii) Knowledge of drafting and noting in Hindi language.

Pay (वेतन):  ₹45,000/- per month
