University of Mysore, Mysuru invites applications from eligible candidates for a walk in selection process for engagement of a Guest Faculty (Library & Information Science).

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):

Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks in relevant subjects (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST) with NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.
However, candidates without NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. will only be considered, if no candidate with above qualification is/are available.

Pay (वेतन): 
1) Guest faculty with Ph.D./NET/SLET/SET (For 12 hours of teaching per week)-₹22,500/- per month
2) Guest faculty without Ph.D./NET/SLET/SET (For 12 hours of teaching per week)-₹19,500/- per month
3) Guest faculty with Ph.D./NET/SLET/SET (For 08 hours of teaching per week)-₹15,000/- per month
4) Guest faculty without Ph.D./NET/SLET/SET (For 08 hours of teaching per week)-₹13,000/- per month
