Librarian Post at North Eastern Council (NEC), Shillong on deputation basis: Last Date-11th November 2019

The North Eastern Council Secretariat is looking for the services of suitable Officers for filling up 1 (One) post of Librarian by Promotion / Transfer on deputation (including short term contract) basis..

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता) and Experience (अनुभव):
(I) Officers in the North Eastern Region under the Central/State Governments/Union Territories/Recognized Research Institutes/Public Sector Undertakings/ Statutory, Semi-Government or Autonomous bodies: -
A) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis; or
(ii) with 5 years' regular service in posts in the scale of pay of RS.1640-60-2600-75-2900 (4th CPC) / PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 +GP Rs.4200/- (6th CPC)/ corresponding to Pay scale of Rs.35400-1124001-Level 6 of Pay Matrix under 7th CPC or equivalent; and
(iii) with 8 years' regular service in posts in the scale of pay of Rs.1400 40-1600-50-2300-60-2600-1600-50-2300-60-26601-(4th CPC) / PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4200/-(6th CPC)/corresponding to Pay scale of Rs.35400-112400/- Level 6 of Pay Matrix under 7th CPC or equivalent; and
B) possessing Bachelor's degree and Degree or equivalent Diploma in Library Science from a recognized University or equivalent.

(II) The departmental Librarian in the scale of Rs.1640-60-2600-75-2900 (4th CPC) / Rs. 5500-175-9000/- (5th CPC) / PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4200/- (6th CPC) / corresponding to Pay scale of Rs. 35400-112400/- Level 6 of Pay Matrix under 7th CPC with 5 years' regular service in the grade will also be considered and in case he is selected for appointment to the post, the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion. 

Pay (वेतनमान): Pay Level - 7 ₹44,900 - ₹1,42 ,4001/- (7th CPC)
