(i) A Master‘s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point -scale wherever the grading system is followed.
(ii) At least ten years as a Librarian at any level in University Library or ten years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years‘ experience as a College Librarian.
(iii) Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.
(iv) A Ph.D. Degree in library science / information science / documentation / archives and manuscript-keeping. Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता):
(a) Law Graduate will be preferred.
(b) Exposure in working with leading libraries on Law and Allied Subjects with research orientation.
(c) Development, organization and management of E-resources including their accessibility over Intranet / Internet, digitization of library resources, e-delivery of information, etc.
(d) Overall sectorial & Industry knowledge ability to analysis / collate demands and prepare a sustainable plan/models of skill programs / courses / work-study model and skilling framework.
(e) A candidate should have knowledge and must be familiar with technology based digital learning MOOCS, SWAYAM etc. IT skills are mandatory.

How to Apply (आवेदन कैसे करे):
(i) Online Application Form is available at Institute’s website www.ili.ac.in.(ii) Candidates serving in Government/Public Sector/Universities/Autonomous Bodies, etc., have to upload the “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from the Employer in the Online Application process.
(iii) Application fee is Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only – non-refundable) for General / OBC Male candidates. SC / ST / Physically Handicapped (PH) and Persons with Disabilities / Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
(iv) Candidates who have already applied in response to the earlier advertisement dt. 07.04.2018, have to apply online application again and submit their revised proforma as per UGC’s latest guidelines without depositing any further application fee.
(iv) Application fee as above can only be paid by Credit / Debit Card / Net Banking / Wallet through Online Application Process.
