Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bangalore invites online applications from fresh post graduates who are highly motivated to pursue their career for the following position.

Post (पद): Library Trainee

No of posts (रिक्तियों की संख्या):   02 (Two) 
Essential Educational Qualification (शैक्षिक आवश्यकता) and Experience (अनुभव): 
Post-graduate in Library & Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.) from a reputed University/Institution. Students who have appeared for final exam and awaiting results may also apply.

Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता): 
Basic Knowledge of computer and working knowledge of any library software (Koha, Libsys, etc.), institutional repository software (DSpace, Eprints, etc.), web design languages (HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.). Above 60% academic performance throughout and UGC-NET qualification for lectureship.

Age Limit (आयु सीमा): Below 25 years.

Pay (वेतन): Rs.20,000/- per month (inclusive of all) in the 1st year and Rs.21,000/- per month (inclusive of all) in the 2nd year.
