Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Librarian

Post (पद):Assistant Librarian

Essential Qualification and Experience (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव): (i) A Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

(ii) A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of a library.
(iii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC, like SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/ SET/ SLET. 

Pay (वेतनमान): Academic Level - 10 (Rs. 57,700 – 1,82,400 )

-Candidates are required to download the prescribed Application Form from { HYPERLINK "http://www.gipe.ac.in" } and submit the form duly filled in, along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune.
-The Application Form duly filled in should reach the Institute on or before March 9, 2020.
