Delhi Public Library is is looking to fill up the post of Library & Information Officer by Composite Method of promotion / deputation (including Short term contract).

Post (पद): Library & Information Officer

No of posts (रिक्तियों की संख्या):   02 (Two)
Departmental Assistant Library & Information Officer in the Pay Matrix Level-07 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/-) with 7 years regular service in the grade and Officers of the Central/ State Govt., Central / State Autonomous Bodies / Public Undertakings .
a) Holding analogous post on regular b a sis; OR with 5 years regular service in the post i'1 pay matrix level-09 of Rs. 53,100-1,67,800/- Or 7 years service in the pay level - 7 Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/- Or equivalent.
b) Possessing the educational qualifications & experience as under:- 

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ): 

(a) Master Degree in Library Science or Lib. & Inf. Science of a recognized University  / Institute or equivalent.
5 years professional experience in a supervisory capacity in a Library under Central/State Government / Autonomous or Statutory organization / PSU / University or Recognized Research or Educational Institution
In case the departmental officer is selected, his/her appointment will be treated to have been made by promotion.
Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता): 
Experience of computerizing library activities.
Age Limit (आयु सीमा): 56 years.
Pay (वेतनमान):  Pay Matrix Level-11 (Rs 67,700-2,08,700).
