Post of Library and Information Officer at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy Last Date:31/08/2020

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy invited applications from eligible candidates for the following post on deputation for one year.

Post (पद): Library and Information Officer 

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता)

Officers from Central or State Government/ Universities/R&D organizations. (i)holding analogous post on regular basis in Level-11 in the Pay Matrix or (ii) Assistant Library and Information Officer with seven years regular service in Level-7 in the Pay Matrix.
Essential (अनुभव):(i) Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from Government recognized University! Institute;
ii) 7 years professional experience in Management of Libraries and office procedures, Data processing and Communication skills and information Service in a Library under Central/State Govt/ University.
Desirable(वांछित):(i)Master's Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from Government recognized University/ Institute;
ii)One year experience of computerizing Library activities in a Library under Central/ State Government/ University or recognized Research or education Institution.
(iii) Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University or Institute. Note: The Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation.

Pay (वेतनमान): Level- 11 in the pay matrix (Rs.67700 -208700/-)
