Vacany for Librarian at IIM, Amritsar Last Date: 06/02/2021

IIM Amritsar invites online applications from eligible candidates for the following post:

Post (पद): Librarian 

No. of posts( रिक्तियों की संख्या ): 01 (UR)

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता)

Minimum Master's degree in Library Science from a recognized university in India or abroad with at least 60% marks. Ph.D. in Library Science will be given preference. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of

published work. Thorough knowledge of computerization of library.

Experience (अनुभव):

Post Master's minimum 8 years of work experience in Library. Out of total 8 years of work experience, 3 year's relevant experience as an independent incharge of the library in Central! State Government Organizations/ Autonomous institutions like IIMs / IITs / Centrally Funded institutions/ Private Higher Education Institutions of national repute.

Age(आयु): Not exceeding 50 years of age as on closing date for receipt of the application.

Pay (वेतनमान): Pay Level 10 as per 7th CPC (Basic, HRA, DA, TA, and DA on TA) and other eligible benefits as approved by the board from time to time. For candidates with exceptional credential in terms of experience and qualification higher Pay Level up to 12 of 7th CPC may be considered.
