Sardar Vallabai Patel National Police Academy invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following post:

Post (पद): Asstt Library & Information Officer

Essential Qualification and Experience  (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव):

(a)Officers under the Central & State Governments.

(i)Holding analogous post in the Level-7: in the pay matrix  on regular service in the grade 

OR

(ii)Senior Library and Information Assistant with 5 years regular service in Level: 6 in the pay matrix.

Essential

(i) Bachelors Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from Government or Government recognized University/ Institution.

(ii) Two years professional experience in a library under Central/ State Government/ University.

Desirable:

(i) BLISc and M.A/M.Sc/M.Corn/ MLISc with 3 years experience from Government recognized University/ College/ Institution.

(ii) Diploma in Computer Application from Government recognized University/Institution.

(iii) Experience of documentation work in a responsible capacity.

Pay (वेतनमान): Level-07 in Pay Matrix (Rs.44900-142400/-)
