Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following post:

Post (पद): Librarian cum Archive Officer  

No. of Posts(रिक्तियों की संख्या): 01 (UR)

Essential Qualification and Experience  (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव):

(i) Bachelor Degree in any discipline from University recognized by UGC.

 and

(ii) Master of Library & Information Science from University recognized by UGC with minimum 55%.

 and

(iii) Knowledge of computer application in Library and Information Management.

 and

(iv) Working experience in Library/ Information Centre is preferable. 

Pay (वेतनमान): Rs. 57,700/- to Rs. 1,82,400/- (Level-10)
