Essential Qualification and Experience (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुà¤à¤µ):
Officers of the Central Government or State Government or
Union territories who are
a. i. holding analogous post on regular basis; and
ii. Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

Essential Educational Qualification:
(i) Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a
recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Two year's professional experience in a Library under Central or State
Government or Union territories or Autonomous or Statutory organization or
Public Sector Undertakings or University or Recognised Research or Educational
Institute
Desirable: Diploma in Computer Application from recognized University or Institute.
Pay (वेतनमान): Level — 6 ( Rs. 35,400-1,12,400) in the pay Matrix
Age(आयु): The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation / absorption shall not be exceeding 56
years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
